How do you go from Burnout to Balance?

50% of people complain that they are just mentally and physically exhausted.

Most of us have days where we feel depleted, helpless, overloaded, where you don’t want to get out of bed much less pursue your dreams.

If you feel like this most of the time then you may be suffering from burnout. You see our bodies and brains are equipped to handle stress in short bursts, but not over long extended periods of time. The impact of burnout it’s real; Lack of motivation, decrease in confidence, decrease in performance, increase moodiness, negative thinking. All of which can lower the quality of life.

Burnout can feel insurmountable, but this overwhelm is a signal, it’s not a sentence. Meaning that burnout is an emotional, mental, physical exhaustion that’s caused from prolonged stress. But if you’re going through this there are signs.

Here are a few of the signs and what we can do to mitigate them. If you feel overloaded, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, unable to meet the constant demands at work or in your life. As the stress continues you begin to lose interest and motivation. This burnout reduces your productivity, saps your energy, leaves you feeling increasingly hopeless or helpless, cynical, resentful. Eventually you might feel like you have nothing left to give, but there is hope.
