Recently we took a day away from work, to reconnect with nature and find BALANCE (No, the pic above is not photoshopped and was probably not too smart or safe. Please DO NOT try it at home or after climbing a tall cliff).
In today’s fast paced information age, the sheer amount and speed of oncoming data is enough to make your brain (or business) go off tilt.
But in an effort to keep in harmony and step with a sometimes hectic world, we often forget one of the best ways to speed up and get more done, is to slow down.
Like our body, our brains are not designed to be stimulated all the time.
I find for myself, to be closer to peak, it helps when I invest time to center (even fifteen minutes to walk, meditate or nap.) And to return refreshed, revitalized, and rejuvenated.
Occasional breaks from your daily routine, to relax and reconnect with the people, places, and passions that give you purpose.
What are the things you do to slow down, get centered, and have better balance?
